Piping CAD designer & drafting

Summary
CMCo requires a Pipe Designer II to create mechanical, structural, electrical, electronic designs for new product parts, subassemblies, assemblies, or system configurations using 3-D CAD Systems and works with limited supervision.
Responsibilities and Principle Responsibilities and Duties

• Piping and equipment modeling as per the process requirement
• Issue engineering drawings for Inter Discipline Check (IDC) a  coordinate with other engineering disciplines to close any technical issues
• Preparation of complete equipment layout, piping layout, general arrangement drawings, piping isometrics, and structural drawings using PDMS Draft & Cad Worx

• Preparation of pipe spool drawings and checking of Isometrics
• Piping support modeling
• Preparation of equipment layout and nozzle orientation

Qualifications
Associate degree or technical school training in ME, EE, Computer Aided Design Technology, or a related field. Five plus years experience in conceptual development of piping layout engineering for oil and gas, refinery, power generation, etc. Experience with PDMS modeling, E3D, CAD Works, AutoCad Navis Worx review software. A plus would be a working knowledge of engineering document management systems, preferably WRENCH software.
