Summary

CMCo has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance I&E Turnaround Planner in Montana, Texas. Also Kansas, if you can produce quality Electrical and Instrumentation work packs in support of the turnaround function, identifying the tasks and labor required to execute the work safely and efficiently, as well as all associated materials and equipment. You can develop and update turnaround job plans and preventive maintenance instructions (PMs), coordinating with procurement and ensuring the availability of required materials, tools and equipment. During turnaround events, you would be required to support field personnel and turnaround management organization through field supervision, information sharing and logistics coordination. This position requires close coordination with maintenance personnel, as well as with the Production, Technology Services, Supply Chain Management and EH&S departments.

Also, you can complete each of the following tasks:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage I/E turnaround work orders, from the moment work is identified until it can be handed over to appropriate individuals, internal or external, for execution. Provide project management of other system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall package preparation.

• Develop detailed job plans, identifying required manpower, materials, equipment, and services. This includes:

o Estimating repairing, replacing and installing DCS, PLC and HMI components, motors, A/C and D/C VFD's, electrical circuits and MCC starters.

o Estimating repairing, replacing, and installing conduit, wiring and electrical equipment.

o Estimating the calibration, replacing and installation of instrumentation components.

o Estimating the calibration, replacing, rebuilding, and installing of control valves.

o Estimating the replacement, adjusting, maintaining, and repairing electrical distribution center breakers.

o Estimating repairing and replacing controls communication networks.

• Perform accurate job cost estimates. Utilize SAP and maintenance planning board and PM administration/creation.

• Support the development of risk assessments for the turnaround jobs.

• Identify materials, equipment and services required to execute the planned jobs. Coordinate with the Procurement department to ensure all materials, equipment and services are available before the work is ready for scheduling.

• Create and update standard turnaround job plans and PMs and maintain the job plan library to ensure improved efficiency of turnaround events, supporting maintenance with E&I documentation.

• Adhere to established work processes and practices. Ensure compliance with established processes and guidelines, including permitting, isolations and risk identification.

• Develop detailed job plans that include, durations, material, and equipment need and cost estimates

• Verify the following are completed:

• Contractor execution of plan (work packages)

• Bid Award contracts

• Contractor selection and evaluation

• Long lead and short-term materials are ordered

• Open work orders for disciplines as required by plans

• Maintain a logistics and security plan

• Develop a site mobilization/preparation plan and demobilization plan including remove surplus materials and temporary trailers

• Conduct post turnaround walk through

• Verify effective communications are maintained during various phases of turnaround

The physical abilities, with or without reasonable accommodations, include:

• Work is located at a Refinery or chemical plant and requires exposure to ambient temperature extremes

• Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as fire-retardant clothing, hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots

• Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc.

• Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs

• May require walking the project property

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant planning experience, preferably in the Refinery or chemical industry.

• SAP/Maximo Planning experience.

• MS Office experience, including development of spreadsheets to track and chart information pertaining to maintenance.

• Experience in communicating job packages/projects with construction and plant personal.

• Experience in specifying vendor instrument equipment and reading vendor manuals.

• Experience in creating and modifying P&I diagrams, loop sheets, single lines, logics and electrical schematics.

• Experience in 24kV to 480-volt power distribution systems, lighting, schematic wiring diagrams, cable / raceway sizing, lightning protection and grounding.

• Experience in developing scopes of work, task analysis, material list and project schedules.

• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

• Possesses an understanding of National Electrical Code, with emphasis in hazardous (electrically classified) locations, and Electrical Safety in the Workplace.
